The Girl Epidemic is a multimedia project about a different world where girls are hunted down and killed just for their genes. But that’s not actually too far from what actually happens in a lot of the world. The Girl Epidemic wants to change that.

Competition is very tempting and can be like a plague to creating change.

Angry Birds USB Slingshot
Think Angry Birds should be a sport? So do these guys, and they’re creating real equipment to compete with. Their USB-powered slingshot mimics the action of playing on the touch screen to give you total control. The design is still in prototype, but check out the full specs here.
